Best/Worst of the Moment
Troy Brouwer.
Also Bickell, and Bolland.
Troy Brouwer was the focus of many discussions at the beginning of the season. Many viewed his ability to grow as way for the Hawks to be successful. Brouwer currently has 15 goals, 28 points and is the biggest physical presence on the team.
He happens to be one of the best forwards on the team right now and he even finds time for post-game interviews. Brouwer might be thinking about a future in broadcasting.
A few other B’s are playing great too. Bickell is having a tremendous rookie season. At a +11 and 26 points, his 600, 000 salary is looking pretty awesome for the Hawks, and that is set for a few years. Bolland started really rough, but has become probably the biggest force of nature on the team in the last 10 games or so. My guess is that he was injured for much of the season and has finally started feeling better. Let us hope he continues to feel better
Im not changing a thing.
He was that worst player for the past month, and gets to stay there as far as I am concerned. Just as Keith started to play better, Seabs started to slump. I have no idea what that is about. While no one besides Hjammer is playing how we would have expected, Seabrook is definitely the weak link as of now. He really needs to get his head out of someone’s butt. He looks like he just doesn’t give a damn. Although I actually saw him get angry after an Av’s goal the other night which provided some evidence that he does give a damn. Step it up Seabs. I think it is time for some of those long breakout passes.
Let me end by saying that I think he has it him. Something is getting in the way of his success. Lets just hope he figures it out soon.
